Would like answer from Dr. Harvey S. Marchbein PleaseFrom: amanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 5 Aug 2001 04:21:19 -0500 (CDT)
Hello. I'm 22 years old and have endometriosis, osteoarthritis of lumbar spine, bone loss (from treatments for endo), and acid reflux. I'm currently on Lupron (first shot was the 13th of July, the 3 month shot) for the endo. Before the Lupron I was on Depo-Provera shot once a month for 10 months. November of last year my ribs started hurting and swelling. I had my gallbladder removed in Feb 2001 because of gallstones and biliary sludge filling the 30% of my gallbladder. After surgery, the pain stopped for about 2 weeks, and then came back. I have had ct scans, mri's and an egd done, all coming back normal. No one seems to know what is causing this. My gastronologist(msp) and an ER dr seemed to think that it was the endometriosis that is causing it, but my reg dr said that he didnt believe that it was. My question is, could it be the endo, and if so, what parts of my body would it be in to be causing my ribs to swell and the pain? and what else could be causing this? I have looked all over the internet trying to find answers and I can't find any information anywhere. Thank you for your time. Take Care and God Bless, Amanda
