If the warts are the classic appearance of genital warts, the other warts you mention would not look like "classic genital warts". If they don't look like classic genital warts, it may be another skin condition entirely. This needs to be seen to be diagnosed definitively. Sometimes a biopsy needs to be done to be sure.

Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information.

Just about a month ago i found 4 little warts on my groin area. I went to the dermotologist and she told me to see an obgyn. All of my Pap test have come back negative. I never had unprotected sex. However, my ex partner did have warts on his fingers, and he did finger me. I also have had planter's warts on my foot when I was 8 years old, and i currently have warts on my arm, which have been their for two years. My little brother also has warts on him. What i am asking is, does genital warts have to be a sexually transmitted disease? I read that some are more prone to it than others. Can you please answer me back. Thank you so very much!
