Annie,
My GYN has always told me to stop using any creams at least 48 hours
prior to being checked. The reason yeast may not show is because the
medication is still there. The medication is covering up what is there
and possibly skewing the results.
Talk to your GYN about stopping the meds for 48 hours and then being
checked.
Has your MD checked you for other types of vaginal infections, such as
bacterial vaginosis?
