Frenum Piercing

Hi, My question for you is this...about two months ago I had a pap smear. The results from this came back and the test showed that I had some abnormal tissue in my cervix...my doctor did a biopsy of the cervix and the results from this came back negative of cancer and showed that my cervix was just inflamed. My boyfriend of two years has a frenum piercing on his penis...and we do not use a condom as I am on the pill and we are monogamous. My question is could it be the piercing that is causing the inflamation. I would ask my normal OBGYN but this question just seems a bit embarrasing to ask.

Thank you for your help in advance.
