Marie, I'm sorry to hear about your pain. I know how hard it is and I believe that if that bad that you should ask your doctor to look at other possibilities. I know what you are going through because I have experienced the same thing for the past 10 years. I started my period at 12 and have had the nightmare periods every since. I went to doctor after dr to find out what was wrong with me and they would tell me it was in my head. Please, if your periods are that bad, do NOT believe them if they tell you this. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis last year and have been on hormonal therapies every since which have stopped my menstration. I have not had a period in about a year. I'm not trying to say that you have endometriosis, but it may be and I do not want anyone to suffer like I did. Please do not let doctors dismiss you. Painfull periods are not normal!
