Veronica, Go to this webpage it will find all the information you need about your period. http://www.womhealth.org.au/WHQWleaflets/menstruation.htm Plus, I suggest you make an appt to see a Gyn at Planned Parenthood. That way you can see a Gynecologist with total confidentality. Since you been getting your period just for the first time you should get annual exam .
