I am concerned for her and want to be as properly >supportive as possible. > >Thanks, Jeff Jeff, I think before anyone can answer this we need to know why your friend had her hyster done.There are somethings,like endo, that a hyster is done for but some doctors will tell you not to take hormones for 6 months after due to reoccuring endo growing back.If you can find this out or know why she had it it might help the women here to give you a more specific answer to your question.Is she having any problems without the hormones?Im not saying it is good not to take them just wondering?
