It's possible but not likely. You should make an appointment with a GYN to get examined and talk about birth control. For me, I wasn't having sex but my fiance and I fooled around. My irregular periods drove me nuts when I was late. My doc put me on the pill to regulate me cycles and it is nice to have achieved a level of regularity. It will give you some peace of mind!
