Approximately 80% of women who go on Clomid, ovulate from it. About
half of those get pregnant just from using Clomid. Some have PCO (check
these archives, the Women's forum archives and our section on PCO for
more info) and need another medication called Glucophage. Still others
need stronger medications to help with unexplained infertility. An
infertility specialist may be helpful here.
As far as how long to use Clomid, many people now say 6 months or so and
then investigate further.
Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information.
