High Testosterone Level in Women

I have had a vaginal discharge for about 7 months now. Yes I went to the doctor a little less than a month after it began. I actually had to go through 2 different doctors, until the 2nd found out I had a high testosterone level. I am only 19 going on 20, how common is this in young girls like me? This is also my fourth month on a form of birth control (Mircette), I am due back for a follow up after 6 months of being on birth control, but being on my 4th month, it does not seem like there's much of a change. Are there other ways to lower the testosterone level and of course stop the annoying discharge???
