Hi, i'm 16, have been having regular periods for about 3 years, and i'm not on birth control. After my last period, i had sex with my boyfriend, and we didn't use protection and were worried that i may get pregnant, so i was anxiously awaiting my next period. i started getting brownish discharge almost exactly a month after my last period, so i thought it may just be that my period was brownish instead of red. But it's so light and mucusy that i'm not sure if it's my period or not and i'm afraid that i may be pregnant. I've read other questions and answers regarding brown discharge but none of them seem very informative, helpful, or exactly like my situation. I dont want to ask my mom to take me to the doctor unless i absolutely need to because i promised i wouldn't have sex again and i did. i dont know if i should be worried about pregnancy or not.
