yeast infections

I am currently in the middle of my second yeast infection in a three-week period. I am sexually active, and we use spermicidally-lubricated condoms along with a vaginal contraceptive film. I've read that repeated yeast infections can be a sign of early pregnancy, so I took a pregnancy test, but it came up negative. Could it just be the spermicide causing it? Or could the infection affect the results of the pregnancy test? Any advice will be very deeply appreciated.
