Re: Are you on Alesse?

I had a mixed reaction to Alesse. I had been on virtually every other bcp, and this is the only one that did not make me gain 20 lbs, in fact I may have lost some. The problem with it for me was the breakthrough bleeding. I always started spotting at least a week before my period was due, and whenever I travelled to a different time zone I would automatically get it. It did not help with cramps, either.

I'm off it now and trying to get pregnant. I do know a lot of women who have loved this pill, and my doctor swears by it. Good Luck!!
