Anon...

Endo can not be diagnosed with an ultrasound. It can detect cysts, polyps, fibroids, but can not diagnose Endo. The only definitive way to diagnose Endo is with Laparoscopy, which is a surgical procedure.

Do your symptoms seem to correspond with your periods? Say, two weeks or so prior to your period and continuing for two days or so into your period? Do you miss work as a result of pelvic pain? If so, how much?

If Endo is a concern, please discuss this with your MD. If you do a search on the Women's Health Forum, look for "Endo Drs." or something similar. I've posted names of Endo Specialists throughout the country in the past.

Best of luck to you. Robin
