I was on the Depo provera shot for two years. I have now been off of it for almost a full year. I also had the weight gain and had been treated for depression. I never had a menstral cycle while I was on the shot or since I've been off of it. My doctor perscribed me Provera to help get me started again. He said it usually always works, but not this time. We already checked my throid levels and they are normal. He did two other blood tests today for hormone levels and stuff like that. He also mentioned a possibility of cancerous cells on the putitory gland that could be to blame another was cancerous cells on or in pelvic bone, ovaries, and cervix. Please tell me how this could happen.
