Another trip to the doctor has raised concerns. The doctor once again did a pap smear, it hurt bad again, the doctor said this was becasue her vagina was "small, shallow and narrow" (she said the doctor spread her fingers to say most women's cervix is 'yay' deep (indicating ~5in, and hers was indicated at ~3in), and the specula was hitting the cervix and a penis would hit the cervix too, painfully, becasue the tissue around it was soft "like younger women." Also discovered, she has no hymen. I know this is normal, but to experience such pain without a hymen seems odd. There was concern about fullness of an ovary, so a pelvic ultrasound was ordered, it was done and nothing showed up, then a transvaginal probe was used and she said she almost cried and could almost not be still. We plan on just taking it slowly until it it comfortable and enjoyable to both, basically my question is what do i need to know? Is there a collection of things that i need to be sure to have with us for the honeymoon? I know tat i should bring lots of extra lubrication (i am under the assumption that K-Y is the best thing to use). Do we need anything else? Some type of topical pain reliever if she hurts bad? or antibiotics if we end up with a urinary tract infection on our honeymoon. What do I need to be sure to pack for, especially the first night, but also the rest of out trip. And, if it turns out that she is too shallow to have all of me in her, what can i do? I am afraid that I will hurt my bride. -- I can't stand to think of hurting her. Please advise.
