General laporoscopy question

From: Pam (anonymous@obgyn.net)

If a patient presented with symptoms of rectocele, prolapse and possible enterocele, would a laporoscopy be indicated to determine the exact stage of prolapse? When, if ever is a laporoscopy appropriate after a diagnosis ( from phys. exam and history) has been made of pelvic floor prolapse? Thanks, PQ
