Kelly Shanahan, MD, : "Re: Leep" My gyn has suggested two options for treating my post-coital bleeding (caused by a lesion inside the cervix, which has been going on for 3 years). He suggests either cryo or leep. My questions are these: if i have a leep, isnt that like creating another lesion(is the cryo a better option)? And what, if any, is the resultant sensation loss to the cervix?
