Paraplegic with elevated prolatin levelsFrom: Veronica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 23 May 2001 13:41:22 -0500 (CDT)
In July of 98 a tree limb hit me on my head and broke my back. Since then I have had irregular periods and I am leaking mild from my breasts. In July of 99 I became pregnant and gave birth in April 2000. My periods are still irregular and I am still leaking milk. I have elevated prolactin levels and my OB/GYN has ordered a pelvic us to rule out cysts and a CT of my head to rule out a tumor. Since I am a paraplegic I do not want to take hormones because of the risk of blood clots, are there any other alternatives?
