Removal immediately following ejaculation is very important for condoms to work effectively... It's difficult estimate what the risk of pregnancy is based on this situation. Although you didn't see sperm at the top of the condom (by the base of the penis), that doesn't mean that a small amount had not leaked out. The fact that your partner maintained an erection makes this leakage less likely, but no one knows for sure. Just as an FYI-- this would have been a perfect time to seek morning after birth control. Using this method can prevent a fertilized egg from implanting... It's great that you're using condoms, but you may want to consider using some spermicide in addition as a backup to increase the effectiveness. Hope this helps...
