Excellent questions but I have nothing unfortunately to go on. With
massively irregular periods this may very well be PolyCystic Ovarian
Syndrome, otherwise known as PCO or PCOS. The irregular periods and
zits go along with it. It is usually suggested that young women with
your complaints see a gynecologist and have certain blood tests done to
confirm the diagnosis. once this is done, appropriate therapy can be
started and hopefully alleviate your irregular cycle and zits galore.
Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information. BTW, we
have a PCO forum on OBGYN.net and you are free to check the archives in
the Women's Health Forum for info on PCO. there's tons of stuff there.
