pregnancy and yeast infectionsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSun, 20 May 2001 00:13:29 EDT
I have had recurring yeast infections since I first started my period when I was 12 years old. I am now 26. I have been to several doctors who can't find anything else wrong, just yeast. I now believe I am pregnant with my second child. Around the time I think I conceived I got a really bad yeast infection. I used a douche with boric acid powder in it because I didn't know I was possibly pregnant. It didn't completely go away, so I used vaginal cream, and then diflucan pill. I am concerned that this might have some effect on the baby. I am really scared. Can you ease my mind? Thank you
