Vaginal adenosis is an occurence more than a disease in and of itself.
It can be cauterized if it is causing problems BUT it shouldn't need a
cure because it shouldn't be causing any problems. It should have no
symptoms whatsoever. It is picked up on exam and the patient has no
idea about it.
Chronic pain needing painkillers sounds like it has to be something else
- not adenosis. I might consider a second opinion here.
Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information.
