If your blood tests are normal, you doctor may very well be correct
about waiting. My level of discomfort despite the normal thyroid
function testing leads me to recommend to my patients to see an
endocrinologist and be evaluated. Many women are treated with thyroid
medication despite normal levels to suppress the growth of the nodules.
Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information.
