Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Mircette Side Effects" I am not all that familiar with BCP's as I have only been on two kinds in my life for a short period of time and it has been several years since the last time I was on them. I've always had problems with headaches and other side effects. I'm 34 and I just started taking Mircette because the Dr. thought the lower dose of estrogen might not cause me as many problems. I have taken 14 pills. I have had breast tenderness, increased appetite, fatigue, bloating/gas and all but the bloating and gas is decreasing. Is the bloating/gas a side effect of BCP's and will it subside eventually or is it something I will have to put up with?
