This has given me monthly cycles. I am getting married and would like birth control for 3-5 years. I do VERY poorly on the pill due to the hormone issues with PCOS (I bleed non stop and feel very depressed). So I was reading about a type of IUD that is plastic and last about 5 years, with no hormones. I was wondering if you could provide me with information on both the positives and the possible side-effects or damage possible with the IUD.
