Pain and spottingFrom: Barbara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 21 Apr 2001 23:40:42 -0500 (CDT)
I have been reading up on a lot of messages posted in this forum and they have really better prepared me to ask a better question. On two separate occasions recently, my boyfriend gave me oral sex which included using his finger and tongue. While it felt pleasurable when he used his tongue, I could not entirely say the same of his finger. Although,he knew where to stimulate my G-Spot, he did cause a sharp pain a few times when he tried to move his finger inside me. I would not know for sure if this was normal or if I had endometriosis(my understanding of endo is that there would be some tissue growth inside of me) to cause the pain in the first place. I am still a virgin as we had not tried full penetration before (also because I could feel very sharp pain when we tried to ). Then, on both occasions, I would see blood on my panties. What I understand is that we could also call this spotting. This would last for about four to five days. I knew that it was not my period as I have had mine just a week before during the first time that I spotted. The second time that it happened, I went to see a general practitioner and she had prescribed bcp for me. Her advice was it is normal, maybe due to stress, and asked me to complete the 21-day bcp routine. My period would return to normal soon after that. Her medical conclusion was that I may be experiencing from irregular period (can this be possible as all this happened withn 28 days). Here I would want to seek a second opinion and confirm if it was not endo. Thank you.
