Hi group..I'm a 22 year old female. I've experience pelvic pain for the past 10 months or so along with what I was told is IBS. I'm thinking the two may be related. I had a pap smear this week and the doctor said she felt a "mass" on either side of my lower pelvis. She ordered an Abdominal Ultra Sound for me but I don't go in until May 11th. I'm researching to find out what the cause may be and since endo runs in my family I think this may be what I'm looking at. However I'm not sure that endo associates a pelic "mass". I'm scared about cancer. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the symptoms other than pain. I've found my periods to be VERY clotty, but on time and not longer than 5 days which is normal. When I urinate there is usually a little bit of white discharge at the bottom of the toilet afterwards. I have this all the time but a bowel or bladder release seems to increase it. The pain is on both sides of my lower pelvic region two inches inward from my thigh. My bowel goes off an on. One week constipated, the next i'm going constantly. Very tired, loosing alot of weight even though eating habits haven't changed. Having Panic/Anxiety attacks off and on. Any ideas? This waiting is stressing me!
