I am a 23 years old, and I suspect, after reading on the internet about diseases, that it is possible that I have endometriosis. So i am getting a doctor soon, and am going to have it checked out. But I'm extremely scared, cause of some of the things I read. Stories about the doctor "feeling" lumps on the ovaries during "rectal" exams. What the hell are they doing so they can feel your ovaries. Do they stick their hand up your ass?? I do not know how this would be possible, and I think it would hurt a Lot!!! I'm very scared that I will have to have this done. Can anyone tell me what happens during diagnosis of this problem. Please tell me they do not do this...

Thanks!
