I'm on a Sunday Start pack, and the first Sunday was the day after I started my period last month. I bled straight through the first pack (though lightly, mostly, up until I started taking the green pills), and stopped about a day or two after starting my second cycle. Does that mean that the pill was not effective during that time or shorttly after? I had sex 7 days after starting the second pack... although I used spermicide as well, was I protected at that time by Ortho Cyclen, or was the bleeding a sign that the pill wasn't working?
