Ever since I started my period when I was 10 I have been irregular off and on. When I first started I would go for like 12 days. After awhile my period became normal and pretty much was regular with the exception of being late or early just a few times. Lately since about December off and on I have been bleeding some in between my periods. It is not like heavy bleeding but there is still some blood. This month I started my period on the 12th and it lasted for about 5 days, then it stopped for about 3 or 4 days and then I begin to bleed some more but not as heavy as a period. I have been bleeding lightly off and on since then and yesterday it became heavier like a normal period. The bleeding in between is just slight almost like it is just leftover from the period. What could be wrong? Is this something I need to be worried about since I have been irregular since my first period?
