Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Spotting but no period" i've been on triphasic regimens for almost a year when my doctor switched me to momophasic pills because my PMS symptoms were not being alieviated by the triphasic pills. this is the first month i've taken Demulen and i actually felt good all month. i usually get my period the same day every month. i had some spotting, some blood on the tissue when i wiped (on the day I was supposed to start my period), and also a bit of brown spotting. i haven't had intercourse for two months, and i have had two normal periods since then and i always take my pills on time. what could be causing this? i've had a lot of stress this past week or so, but stress has never seemed to interfere with it too much before. could pregnancy be a reason?
