Re: I overheard my gyn talking...From: Alex (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 13 Mar 2001 23:26:16 -0600 (CST)
Thanks for your answer to my e-mail, now I have to ask you because I don't know if I could ever trust a male gynocologist again, (I re-read what I wrote, and I guess I was so upset I left out a bunch of stuff that they were saying, which would prbably explain my lack of trust now, and my being uncomfortable, I'm not going to get into it anymore, but basically it had to do with women "spreading at their will", and not ever needing to buy another Playboy). Anyway, being a male gyn could you please answer my question, why did you become a gyn instead of any other specialty? What was your reason, please be as honest as you can, this whole thing has got me so upset I can't sleep at night. I've already set-up an appointment with a female doctor who was recommended to me. I'm not sure I could ever go back to any male doctors, and every friend that I've told about this agrees, and has vowed to do the same. This didn't effect just my life. Please be honest...by the way, I'm an EMT so I am one of those medical people you were talking about that deal with stress by joking, but never have I joked about anything this sick before, this even got to the guys I ride with....and we've seen it all...
