Ventricular and superventricular ectopy

I went today and got the test results from my heart monitor. He gave me this letter stating "your study was remarkable for extensive ventricular and superventricular ectopy. What does that mean? He put me on a beta-blocker (sp) and told me to come back in 1 month. He couldn't tell me if this is caused by the PCOS or is hereditary or anything. He tried to explian what it was, but I still don't get it. Is this something that patients with PCOS have often? Is it something that will effect my long-term health? WIll it cause other heart trouble? Does it cause concern for patients who want to become pregnant in the near future?
