31 yr old female diagnosed at 25 w/ ammenorha or lack of periods. Diagnosed 2 yrs ago w/ infertility and (lack of hormone progestrone?) hormone imbalance and placed on provera to take every 6 weeks if no period.(god awful stuff)I researched natural alternative and started on a reputable natural progestrone cream as an alternative for about 1 yr.successfully i got regular periods again and no side effects! Now I am again at a desperate point, using the cream for a year and being regular i weaned off it and was ok for about 6 months and now since november 00 i havn't had a period although I have had very light spoting dec & jan. and my weight is going up and i am very fatigued. I am planning to suck it up and start my provera again for a quick temporary fix and next month start back on the cream. Any info or suggestions would be appreacheated. My condition is incureable i understand and i will always have to take provera or progestrone forever or go back to this no period thing. If i want to become pregnant i will have to go off provera and start fertility drugs. Either way it's be on med's. Is there any known cause and is it genetic? I've been hearing more & more about this problem and wonder if it's enviormental related. And, wondering what my risk of endometrium cancer & breast cancer risks are w/ condition.
