If the cysts are growing this large and so fast, I would think something should be done. I have had much smaller cysts rupture, but to have something the size of a grapefruit rupture, that just sounds barbaric to me!!!! Maybe your sister would do well with a second opinion. Check the archives on the Pregnancy and Birth Forum. There may be a lot of information on cysts and pregnancy over there. Good luck to your sister!
