Pam,

I hope it isn't Herpes, but from what I have read, what you describe, does sound like Herpes. Dr. Braun is very well respected here. The Drs. here not only want to help with the questions and give the answers they feel are appropriate for the question, but they try to interject humor as well. I understand you don't find anything humorous in what is going on with your Daughter, but he was trying to bring a little light to the subject.

I realize that you said your Daughter told you she is not sexually active, but sometimes this is very difficult to tell our parents. It is very private, and when something happens as a result of the sexual activity, it is even more difficult.

I hope the culture came out negative.
