What do you mean by "safe?" If you mean is it okay healthwise to stop for a month and restart, I would say yes, provided there aren't other medical problems (your Dr. can help determine this best for you). If you mean "safe" in terms of sexual intercourse and prevention of pregnancy, I would think you'd have to wait a full month to make sure that pregnancy would not occur (meaning, using another form of birth control, i.e. condoms).

Also, make sure you always use condoms in addition to the pill, or any other type of contraception. This will help prevent STD's and AIDS!
