High prolactin levelsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 11 Jan 2001 08:27:28 -0600 (CST)
I had blood work done on day 5 of my cycle and it came back with elevated prolactin levels. My doctor wants me to repeat the test which is fine. However, I wondered how hight prolactin affects the ability to get pregnant and what the treatment is. I have been doing BBT for about 6 cycles now and consistently ovulate on day 17-18 and my cycle is 28-29 days. Could prolactin cause the delayed ovulation/short luteal phase? Thanks.
