My sister recently had a pap result come back neg. because of irreg. cells. There is two spots on her cervix that didn't look right. The doctor did a biopsy to have the spots tested for cancer. The results came back that it is not cancer but the doctor wants to do a procedure where they burn the layer of skin over the spots. This all sounds so risky. She is going to go for a second opinion but in the until then, she is pretty worried about it. Does this sound normal? She is only 25 years old. Isn't there any other option? Thanks for any information.
