Two points -

#1 Dermoids don't shrink. There may have been a non-dermoid component that got smaller or disappeared but since there are many people who read our posts, I wanted it to be clear.

#2 Since most dermoids after age 20 do ont grow rapidly, many women find it safe to get pregnant with a dermoid. At 2.7 cm, the chance of torsion or rupture is quite small.

Good luck.

Hope this helps and write back anytime for more information.
