No, the pap tells nothing about the ovaries, except in very rare cases. However, the pelvic exam can tell if there are cysts on the ovary. You may want to ask your md for an ultrasound of the pelvis. You may have several things that can be affecting the ovary that the md and the ultrasound can not discover, ie scar tissue (adhesions)and endometriosis come immediately to mind, so you may ultimately need a laparoscopic surgery to check it out. Hope this helps.
