If the shot that you received was Depo-Provera, then the reason that you are bleeding irregularly is due to that shot. This is an extremely common side effect of the shot. Talk with the doctor that gave it to you about this and the other potential side effects of Depo-Provera, or any other medication that you might be given in future.
