Why am I so Nauseous?

I have been taking Ortho-tricycline for about 3 years now. I didn't even realize that the pills might make me nauseous until about a year ago. I thought I had food poisoning, until I realized that it was the first two pills of the pack that were causing me to wake up at 2:00am vomiting.

The same thing happened a few months later, and then a few months later, until now it happens every single month, with at least the first two pills. This time, I'm on pill 4 of my pack and I was sleeping on the bathroom floor last night and I couldn't even stand up in the shower this morning - I was SO nauseous and dizzy.

Is this normal?? Why would it have not bothered me for 2 years and now I find it debilitating? Is there another form of the pill that may not affect me this way? I would REALLY appreciate some advice on this!

Thank you...
