Re: Inability to Orgasm...From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 1 Dec 2000 18:06:35 -0600 (CST)
I have a book that suggests doing sets of keggles (repeatedly tightening and releasing the muscle that you'd use to stop your urine flow). The book says that you should start out doing 10-15 keggles 3 times a day and increase the number that you are doing as you can. Nobody can see you do keggles, so you can do them anywhere. Apparently this helps to strengthen the muscle that contracts during an orgasm. The other thing you can do (and my husband and I often resort to this when I just can't seem to orgasm) is to let him manually stimulate your clitoris. Your clitoris is the sensitive area at the front of the tee-pee between your labia (can you tell I'm not a doctor?). My husband uses his finger to very gently rub that until I orgasm. Often that is more fun that having an orgasm during intercourse! One other thing that you might want to know is that taking the pill can decrease your sexual desire. I stopped taking the pill about a year ago and have seen a marked increase in my desire for my husband (with that came a drastic increase in vaginal lubrication). I hope this helps. A laywoman
