If the ovary can't be seen, why is a tumor suspected on it? The only other procedure would be to do a laparoscopy. THis is a major surgical proedure under anesthesia and shouldn't be done without a reason. If the ovary can't be seen on transvaginal US, we usually fill the bladder and do an abdominal US at that same setting to look for it. That usually does the trick.
