I'm not a doctor or anything, but I think it can. I mean, about 1/4 of women get a "kind-of" period (shorter, lighter, etc.) during the first couple of months they're pregnant, and you can theoretically get pregnant while you're on the pill, so I guess there is a chance (albeit really slim- the pill is something like 99% effective) you can be pregnant, on the pill, and still be bleeding...
