Switching pillsFrom: Christine (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 15 Nov 2000 19:14:46 -0600 (CST)
I am interested in switching b.c.pills. I am 35 years old with two children, due to the help of Clomid, and am currently taking Ortho tri-cyclen. I have been taking this pill for 1 1/2 years and have found it to cause bad headaches, bloating, cramping and nausea during the first two weeks but I feel great the last week. Since I don't ovulate or get a period regularly without the pill, my doctor has encouraged me to remain on the pill versus another form of b.c. or medication. My Dr. doesn't feel I have pcos but suggests a luteal phase defect. I'm just trying to put it all together and find a pill suitable that doesn't cause my current problems or androgen related side effects that are a problem when not taking any b.c. pills. Your expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
