I have been on BCP for almost 3 years. For the first 2, i was taking Ortho-TriCyclen. I started having minor break through bleeding every month in the 2nd or 3rd week so my dr switched me to Ortho-Novum 1/35. The bleeding continued in either the second or third week of the pack. In August, my dr prescribed Mircette. I took the first pack with no problems. The fourth week of the first pack of mircette, I had an UTI. I took a 3-day antibiotic starting the 22nd day of the pack. During the first week of the 2nd pack, I got a yeast infection. I used a 3 day gynolotremin (spelling?). On the 3rd day treating my yeast infection and the 8th day of the BCP pack, I began light, but consistant bleeding. Is it because of the UTI and yeast infection or am i still having break though bleeding problems? I am getting frustrated. Can you help? Thank you, Eli
