Dermoid Tumor

I had my left ovary removed in Dec. of 99. I had a large dermoid tumor and my ovary was basically "eaten" by this tumor. My right ovary had a large cyst on it and they "drained" it. When I went into surgery they were looking for endometrosis, but the above is what they found. I have had problems since I was about 15. I have always had cysts, poly-systic ovary I think is the term I was given orginally. When I say I have always had problems, they have quite often been severe, I have had large cysts, lots of small cysts, (my Dr. counted 15 during a sonogram), every combination possible. Recently I have started having these problems again, in my right side, the are familar and I am terrifed that I have another tumor or something. I am going to schedule an appointment with my doctor to get this checked out. What I really want to know is how likely is it that I could have another Dermoid? I don't have children, however I desperetly want kids, but I am only 23, not married, not finished with college, and not in a postion to have kids now. Does any one think there is any hope that I can one day have kids?
